Workplace Injury Prevention
For Transportation Companies

Your team keeps things moving. We keep them moving safely.

BIOKINETIX Transportation

Built for the demands of the job. Every job.

Hours of sitting followed by immediately unloading freight is one of the most physically demanding transitions a body can make. It’s why in transportation, one of the biggest injury risks happens in the first few minutes after a driver stops the truck. BIOKINETIX builds warm-up programs around that reality. Whether it’s a quick routine before the first stop or a QR code video drivers can do in the cab before they get out, we want their bodies prepared for the work ahead.

In the warehouse, the challenge is different but the risk is just as high. Transportation and warehousing have some of the highest MSD rates of any industry we serve. People are moving constantly, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling across a full shift. There’s no fixed workstation to optimize. The risk moves with each person. That’s why our programs focus on manual material handling expertise, department specific warm-ups, and new hire training that teaches people how to move before the job teaches them the wrong way. No matter the role, we build a program around the demands of that job. The industrial athlete loading the dock and the one behind the wheel have different bodies doing different work. They deserve an injury prevention program that knows the difference.

FAQs

How do you reach drivers who aren't in the building?

Not every member of your team starts and ends their shift in the same place. For drivers, the most practical solution is timing. Rather than insisting on a warm-up before they leave the facility, we’ve developed guidance around warming up at the first stop. By the time a driver reaches their first delivery, their body has been sedentary long enough that a quick movement routine before getting out of the cab is more valuable than one they did an hour earlier at the warehouse.

We also create short video content drivers can access on their phones via QR code. A quick warm-up they can do anywhere, at any stop, without needing anyone from BIOKINETIX to be physically present.

For everyone under one roof, the program manager is there throughout the shift, rotating through inbound, outbound, and selector teams to make sure every department gets the attention they need.
