Sully was a friend to many, and mentor to perhaps more than he could have known. His humility and quiet strength belied a life rich in accomplishment and service. As a veteran of the Ohio Army National Guard, Sully led a distinguished career as a combat medic, earning the status of Platoon Sergeant. His numerous contributions to the athletic training profession have been recognized at the state, district and national levels, including designation as “Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer” in 2011 by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. Thanks to his firm understanding of regulatory issues, he helped state legislators draft language for two Illinois Athletic Training Practice Acts, and was elected President of the Illinois Athletic Trainers Association (IATA).
Sully joined the BIOKINETIX Leadership Team in 2015. We are thankful for the invaluable impact he brought during these years, both through his leadership in the field and as a role model to the folks who worked alongside him. As a medical provider, he continuously strived to enhance the lives of thousands of student, professional, and industrial athletes. The world has lost a truly remarkable man, but his legacy will continue to live on in our hearts and minds.
The Culture Of BIOKINETIX
We are a team of doers.
We are on the floor, out on the construction site, in the dust and the noise, right in the thick of it.
We lean on each other, sharing what works and holding each other to a higher level of care.
Because the people we serve, and the team we are proud to be part of, deserve nothing less.
Industrial Athletes Need Trainers. Be One.
