Workplace Ergonomic Programs
Knowing where the risk is only matters if you do something
about it.
Identify. Fix. Prove It.
BIOKINETIX Workplace Ergonomic Programs start where the work starts: on the floor. Our program managers are on the floor with your people, watching how they move, offering real-time corrections and encouragement. It’s not formal, it’s conversational. “Hey, try it this way.” or “You did that really well.” Building trust and catching bad habits before they become injuries.
When a task is identified as a known risk, we find a solution to fix it. That’s where our 3E approach comes in. First, engineering. Can we redesign the workstation? Change a tool? Modify a process to remove the risk entirely? If we can’t engineer the risk out, can we develop a best-practice body mechanic that reduces it? This is where ergonomics comes in. Can we teach people the smartest way to move through a task that their body will still have to do? If we can’t engineer it and we can’t fully mitigate it through mechanics, this is where targeted exercise programming comes in, building the physical resilience to handle what the work demands.
But our work doesn’t stop when the solution is found. What sets us apart is the post-solution assessment, re-evaluating the task to measure exactly how much we’ve reduced the risk. Because you can’t really deem a solution successful unless you see it working.
FAQs
How long does an ergonomic assessment take?
It’s a question every operations manager is going to have. And we get it. The answer isn’t a simple one because it genuinely depends. Daily behavioral coaching is ongoing, the task risk-assessments are project-based, and the pre/post-solution assessments add another layer. But that’s exactly the point. BIOKINETIX isn’t a one-and-done vendor that shows up, runs an assessment, and disappears. We stick around to identify, fix, and prove it.
How is this different from a standard ergonomic evaluation?
A standard ergonomic evaluation typically goes like this: someone comes in, observes, documents the risks, hands over a PDF, and done. BIOKINETIX does the opposite. Daily on-the-floor coaching means we’re already working with your people before a formal assessment even happens. The 3E process drives toward actual solutions rather than recommendations, and the post-solution assessment closes the loop. Because you can’t say your solution is a real solution unless you prove it worked.
How do you get workers to actually change how they move?
Patience and presence. We get to know your people and how they move over time, out on the floor with them every day. And it helps that they know we’re in their corner. We’re a neutral party brought on specifically to help them move better and feel better doing the work they do. Once one person feels the difference, others follow.
